Rita Watkins - great and last update

Rita Watkins and Pat Parker made it back down to Quartzite, AZ in early March. Rita had been seriously ill and was hospitalized for weeks, first in Phoenix and then in BC. She is now back to her "old" self and traveling happily again in their Motorhome. Vicki and I are traveling with them as we head north for the summer at home. We will spend one last night on the road tomorrow in Washington and then part ways as they head up to their home in Richmond, BC. It was such a joy to have them return to their desert base and rejoin the group of RVing women waiting to greet them. Rita is a miracle in that she is feeling good and has no after effects of her illness. Vicki and I look forward to seeing our Cascadia friends at Ferndale and Mossyrock this season. We miss you and hope the winter has treated you all very well! Cathy Atkins
